Foodie Friday : World Cuisine : Japan’s 10 weirdest ice cream flavors (Reblog)
ATTN Foodies and food lovers. Check out this Top Ten List. Do you have a taste for something sweet, cold and delicious, yet strange and exotic or ... maybe just a little salty? Then you should probably be visiting an ice cream parlor in Japan. I have heard of sweet potato ice cream, which I personally thought was weird; however, it's not on this list! Squid ink?? It's Number 8. Eh! It's soft serve! Worth a try! :)

Foodie Friday : Sampling Fast Food World Cuisine is a Fun Do!
Found this site called Delhi-Fun-Dos. As you probably guessed by the name, it's about fun things you can do in Delhi. Well, I know that the likelihood that I will ever travel to India is somewhere on my life's timeline between “slim chance” and "never gonna happen!"
But we can all travel the world online via the world wide web and so I visited Delhi and guess what I found? Wendy's!!
My behavior is so typical American. Right? Travel around the world and what do we look for when we land in another country? Same thing we have back home. Duh!
Not true of me. I really do want to experience the life and culture of the people in a land different from my own. But as soon as I got to the site I saw the article about Wendy's. Couldn't help it! I was curious!
We only have a bazillion Wendys fast-food restaurants in America but saw the link and had to take a peek! I'm thinking:
Wendys is on a “Fun Do List” of things to do in Delhi?
So I read the article and now I'm upset! I'm upset because we don't Paneer delight in our Wendys restaurants here in Texas.
I think every once in a while, our restaurants should offer, even if for “for a limited time only”, a taste of a popular dish from another country.
It's a great way to encourage food diversity and an appreciation for world cuisine and global flavors.
What do you think?
Is this idea doable?
Sampling global flavors is undeniably a great fun do! :)

Can You Guess the Healthiest Cuisines in the World?
Dear Blog Readers and Subscribers:
Missed me? LOL. ☺❤

Found an interesting article today at Spices, Inc. that lists the 8 Healthiest Cuisines in the World.
It was no surprise to me that California Cuisine was on the list. I am a little upset that Caribbean cuisine did not make the list. But I understand. ☺ As to why kosher Jewish food isn't Number 1 on the list? Your guess is as good as mine. ☺
JUST FOR FUN!
Before you check the official list at Spices, Inc., write down YOUR LIST of world cuisines that you think should be on this list and then compare to see if you guessed right!

Many celebrities have gone the way of the vegan. to name just two (see "Links of Interest" below). Taking the leap and plunging myself into a vegan diet would be unrealistic. Mystery Oreo Cookies Taste Like What?
Please! Please! Please! NO! I'm not imitating James Brown, the late great godfather of soul. But I am begging! Please! Oreos are as American as apple pie! Per Wikipedia:
Please don't mess with Oreos!
During the year (2017), there was a controversy about rainbow Oreos. I survived it.
Now Oreo reveals its mystery flavor and "many tweeted that the cookie tasted like Fruity Pebbles or orange creamsicle".
WHAT??! I object!
Whatever! Forget about it! ☺❤
People do have different tastes and there is lots of food diversity to go around the world ten times over. As long as Oreos can be used for world peace, it's all good.
In the United States, they were sold for 25 cents a pound (453 g) in novelty cans with clear glass tops. The first Oreo was sold onMarch 6, 1912, to a grocer in Hoboken, New Jersey. The Oreo Biscuit was renamed in 1921, to "Oreo Sandwich." A new design for the cookie was introduced in 1924.
